CREATIVE WAYS TO GIVE

The Fredericton SPCA has been fortunate to see many members of the community give back in very creative ways! Here are some ideas:

• WEDDINGS: Getting married? Some happy couples that are getting hitched choose to take tips or cash at the bar for the animals at the FSPCA
• DINNER PARTY: Having a dinner party? Instead of a bottle of wine, ask your guests to make a donation.
• DONATE YOUR OLD CAR: Donate A Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Fredericton SPCA. We provide free towing in many areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you Donate your RV, boat, motorcycle or other vehicle to Fredericton SPCA through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age and location. Donate A Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for your Charity to benefit. After your Vehicle Donation is complete, Fredericton SPCA will send you a tax receipt within 45 days! • RECYCLE FOR RESCUE

  The Fredericton SPCA participates in the Recycle for Rescue program to help raise funds to help animals in need.  It is an easy way for the public to support our cause and it makes a big difference!

  Watch for notification of our bottle drives or drop off your bottles in the trailer parked on the property at 165 Hilton Rd.

   

  

  You can also help the Fredericton SPCA and save the environment at the same time! So, please set aside any of these items you may have:

  • Any brand of plastic air fresheners and air freshener refill cartridges, plastic bottle trigger heads, pumps and caps, plastic air and home care product packaging, flexible cleaning wipe packaging
  • All Babybel packaging (for all the different varieties and formats), such as cellophane, tag, net, metal clasps, wax, plastic wrappers and bag
  • Brita® dispensers, Brita® bottles, Brita® bottle filters, Brita® standard filters, Brita® Longlast™ filters, Brita® filter packaging, Brita® faucet filtration systems, and Brita® pitchers
  • All brands of blades and razors (systems and disposable units, and replaceable blade cartridge units), rigid plastic packaging, and flexible plastic bag packaging
  • Any brand of plastic snack pouches and caps
  • Any brand and size of lunch kit packaging including the lunch kit plastic trays, the lunch kit plastic film and all the inside plastic packaging and wrappers.
  • All Swiffer refill pads, including Sweeper™ Dry, Sweeper™ Wet, Sweeper™ XL, WetJet™, and Duster™
  • Terra® and Sensible Portions® snack bag packaging
  • Pet Food Packaging: Open Farm Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food packaging, Open Farm Dry Dog Food packaging, Open Farm Dog Treat packaging, and Open Farm Dry Cat Food packaging. Wellness® Complete Health®, Wellness® CORE®, and Wellness® TruFood® flexible plastic pet food packaging. OPEN FARM AND TRUFOOD ARE THE ONLY TWO BRANDS THAT ARE ACCEPTED.

  PLEASE NOTE: ELECTRONICS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED AS PART OF THE RECYCLE FOR RESCUE PROGRAM.

  Your collected items can be placed in drop-off boxes at Shur-Gain Feeds n’ Needs on the Exhibition Grounds or at Modern Mutts in New Maryland.
