SNIP PROGRAM

S.N.I.P. (Spay/Neuter incentive Program) was developed to assist low-income families with spaying and neutering their cats. Since the FSPCA does not have a veterinarian on staff, it relies on local vets who support our objectives by providing services for animals in our care. This includes the spaying and neutering of all animals adopted from our organization. It is the same veterinarians who provide their support and expertise that allow us to offer S.N.I.P.

For information on SNIP, contact us directly at 459-1555.

We are very pleased to announce that we have received a $5,000 spay/neuter grant from theĀ CanFel Foundation.

This grant will be used to help us with the spay/neuter of owned cats from those of low-income. Thanks to the CanFel Foundation; these funds will help increase the number of cats & families that we will be able to assist this year.
The CanFel Foundation was established and generously funded by the late Sandra Bond in support of animal welfare. Sandra Bond was a businesswoman who made her home in Guelph, Ontario. She was an early and passionate advocate for animal welfare; she particularly supported programs designed to instill humane values in children, and spay and neuter programs designed to reduce the number of unwanted companion animals.
