FSPCA Shelter tours provide a unique opportunity for all ages to learn about the role of animal shelters in the community. These interactive “behind-the-scenes” tours are a great way to learn how we help animals and the services we offer, learn about preventing problems like pet over-population, and the many ways individuals can help animals.

Tours include interactive lessons and activities, a guided tour of the shelter, and a chance to meet some of our animals for adoption. Tours are catered to the age of each group and can be tailored to meet the specific needs or requests of each group.

Shelter tours make a great outing for:

  • Pre-school, elementary, middle and high-school classes
  • College classes
  • After-school programs
  • Youth and adult special interest or service groups
